INSURANCE: Except for a couple of books lost while crossing the Canadian border, we have had no reports of books lost in transit, either by surface or air shipment. However, we can assume no responsibility for loss once we have posted your order. If this concerns you, consider insuring your order. The insurance is not too expensive, but unfortunately your insured order must be sent by parcel post (not as printed matter) which with air shipping is much more expensive than the rates shown above.
If you want insurance, e-mail us your order list (IMPORTANT, in the winter check the home page first to be sure we're around to read e-mail) specifying parcel post surface insured or parcel post air mail insured and we will advise you of the cost.

PAYMENT in U.S. funds by a check drawn on a U.S. bank, or by international bank or postal money order. Many of our foreign readers send U.S. cash, but of course you do so at your risk.
